What do volunteers wear?
Volunteers will receive a FREE T-Shirt to wear for the competition. You are welcome to wear this shirt over another shirt. Wear good athletic/walking shoes as you may need to walk around the Stroh to visit teams.
Will there be food available?
Volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch. Snacks and water will be available all day in the volunteer room. Additionally concessions will be open and available to purchase.
What is the competition day like?
Times listed during the event are an estimate. The competition may end earlier and therefore result in volunteers being able to end earlier. This is dependent on the flow of the game and competition. Judged events have different times and requirements.
Where do I go to check-in?
Virtual Volunteers - Will receive information via e-mail about how to register to be a judge, how to log in and submit scores
Friday Volunteers - Prior to Friday Nov 1st, volunteers will receive an e-mail with instructions on where to meet. All Day & Morning volunteers will most likely start at Kokosing Hall before transitioning to the Stroh. Afternoon volunteers will start at the Stroh center.
Game Day Volunteers - Refer to your Volunteer & Judges packet with additional information for Game Day instructions. All volunteers will check-in at the Stroh Center. Volunteer check-in is located on the arena floor.
What are my next steps?
Keep an eye on your email for your volunteer assignment and additional details. Prior to game day you will receive information about your role responsibilities and duties for review.
A 20 minute zoom orientation will take place the week before Game Day and will be scheduled based on volunteer roles and availability.
A morning check-in and game day overview will take place in the volunteer room with grab n go breakfast items (coffee/bagels) to review your specific volunteer duties and responsibilities.
