      Track 1: Rebuilding Pre-College Programs: Laying a Strong Foundation for Students
      Description: This track focuses on all things programmatic as it relates to planning & operating pre-college programs in a variety of formats (in-person, online, hybrid).

      Track 2: Student Voices
      Description: This track is specifically for students that have participated in pre-college programs. We want to hear about their experiences and what they want and need out of a pre-college program.

      Track 3: Youth Mental Health & Wellness
      Description: This track focuses on best practices of how to support the mental health and wellness of youths. Students more than ever need support and resources regarding their mental health and wellness.

      Track 4: Building Engagement & Encouraging Community in Online Programming
      Description: Creating community is a crucial piece of pre-college programming. This track focuses on how pre-college programs have successfully engaged their students in an online format.

    • Presentation Format Descriptions

      Presentation (25 minute)
      Description: Each presentation should include 20 minutes of presented material plus a built-in 5 minute window for Q&A. Presenters should identify at least three key takeaways that are universally applicable (applicable across multiple institutions and programs). The presentation does not need to include an interactive component, but audience participation is acceptable.


      Workshop (50 minute)
      Description: In addition to presented materials, workshops must include audience engagement or a built-in activity session with at least one core learning objective. This session must include learning objectives, be interactive and have a takeaway component (handouts, best practices, etc.) for the participants. Workshops should include no more than 25 minutes of presentation with the remaining 25 minutes reserved for live participation or activities.


      Poster (with 3-5 Minute Video)
      Description: Each virtual poster submission must include a 3-5 minute recorded video that explains and expands upon materials presented on the poster. The video will serve as an “elevator pitch” for your project or program. Feel free to be creative! Virtual posters and accompanying videos will be posted to our website to give attendees a chance to view and vote on poster award winners.
